I made this drawing about a year ago down at the World Trade Center. Families performed a brief ceremony at the World Trade Center by tying yellow ribbons on the Callery Pear tree that had survived the devastation of the 9/11 tragedy twelve years ago. It was a memorable and moving ceremony. It was wonderful to see a living monument to the tragedy and suffering of so many people. And the new trade center building was under construction in the background. Always remember.
