From the Archives

Each weekend Studio 1482 will be featuring posts from the One Drawing A Day archives. Today’s post is by Dominick Santise, from back in 2016. It’s titled “Waiting for a Burger.”

I’ve been playing with my brush pen a bit lately. The name is in Japanese, so I have no idea what it is called. The second one I’ve had in 20 years. All it seems to need from time to time is a good soak and it is right back to work. Really great when you can’t have a bottle and brush, as I could not while waiting at Shake Shack last week for my dinner. She had this look on her face as if  everyone was getting there food before she and her partner were. She finally went and asked and all she got was a shake. Thinking she should have asked earlier.—Dominick
