Marg, I love these drawings, and I really miss the old cafeteria at the Met. I agree, it made you feel like part of the Museum. PLUS you could sit with your coffee and look at the beautiful mural from the Normandie. I have a lot of nice memories of hanging out in that cafeteria, working in my sketchbook. You could spend all day there. Now if you want a cup of coffee in the Met cafeteria, you sit in the basement like one of the mole people. 🙁
Yeah, its kind of strange going bellow. I liked being upstairs where you were part of everything going on! Miss it!
