For this city drawing exercise I went to Hoboken New Jersey and stood at the Lackawanna train station intersection. It was challenging because of all the fencing around it. It’s a very old (and very beautiful) station so I imagine it’s being protected. But I was able to draw it from a distance. It was not such a busy day except for a few weekend city goers. And making four thumbnails as suggested in the book was a real help.
