This weekend, I traveled with the Dalvero Academy to Mystic Seaport, to watch the Morgan leave Mystic and travel to New London, Connecticut. It was the first leg of her 38th Voyage. Once she was in New London, the crew began the process of ‘bending the sails’ – tying them to the spars of the ship. I really enjoyed watching the acrobatics of the crew as they maneuvered along the tightrope of rigging.
