A Season Closes

A Season Closes

As the snow attempts to cover the ground before me, I see more than I have seen in years just how little it takes to make such a beautiful view. Minimal color, no leaves waiting to fall—or grow for that matter—just a serene landscape full of so much more than I have seen in seasons past. So as one more autumn closes and the last of the foliage paintings peak out for 2016 I look forward to finding the new and beautiful in the winter just starting to pull off its covers. —Dominick
