A (not so) quiet moment

A (not so) quiet moment

As the Charles W. Morgan was being lowered back into the water a few weeks ago, behind the big crowd of supporters and spectators, and as everyone was moving around congratulating everyone else, one man stood quietly watching the ship lower inch by inch over the 18 minutes or so it took for her to descend upon the water. When I started the drawing the red line of the ship was well above his head. By the time I finished the ship was floating. —Dominick

It’s not easy to capture the moment when it happens so quickly..I think it’s wonderful!
