I think ‘practice’ is a good word for my first post of 2016. Keep working, keep learning. This is a practice head I created while working on portraits and testing out some new watercolors. Happy New Year! Greg Betza ©2016

This is one of the drawings I made for the book, “SEX: An Erotic Journal for Sexual Inspiration and Exploration,” coming out this June. It’s a really fun book that couples can read and do some fun things together, including making drawings for their sex journals! Its published by Quiver and this is a link […]

I did this drawing while watching the wait staff appear to huddle up, make a plan and BREAK off into action. It was quite amusing! ©Greg Betza 2014

Aaahhh…..Kika the Beautiful! A wonderful model that we have been drawing for many years, incredible lady to draw and converse with while she is modeling! She’s so culturally oriented that her conversations as well as her “costumes” are pretty global and mythical. As I said, aaaaahhhhh, lovely! Thanks, Kika! Margaret Hurst

I don’t remember why I made the thumbnail.  There is a polar bear on an iceberg, a frog with a large right leg, an elephant with some giraffe […]

Riding into town earlier this week I got a chance to do a quick study on the subway. This woman’s energy was a little unusual and inviting to draw. With her chin up high and such an interesting portrait I couldn’t resist. p.s. Happy Birthday Chris! Drawing by  Michele
