When I am wrestling with something in the studio, the best way to figure it out is to go out and draw from life! Nature never disappoints.
This past weekend provided the perfect opportunity for that kind of study – while visiting my parents in Florida I enjoyed moving shapes and marks around and studying the beautiful forms of the palm trees in front of their home.
