No matter what the political climate, one thing remains true: children love to sled down snowy hills in winter!
This was the scene at Central Park in NYC this past Saturday afternoon. So many children and their parents enjoying the day, laughing and calling out to each other, making memories that will last a lifetime. And I too enjoyed the brief respite from the cares of the world, sitting on a cold bench with my friend Margaret, doing the thing we like to do best; drawing on location. (Socially distanced, of course!)
I especially loved seeing the abandoned stroller covered with sweaters: Yippee!
