The Sears Tower in Chicago – now called the Willis Tower – is the second tallest building in the United States. (The new One World Trade building in Manhattan is taller.)
When I was in Chicago last year for the Urban Sketchers Symposium, I found it a challenge to include the building and still have room in the picture for people! I wanted to really emphasize how massive it is – here is a study I did with that in mind. And no, I did not go up to the top to lean out over the glass wall like some people do – can’t imagine that even for a second! LOL
