One Watercolor A Day book giveaway!

We’re so excited – the sequel to our One Drawing A Day book is available for pre-order, and hits the shelves in December!

The book is called: One Watercolor A Day: A 6-Week Course Exploring Creativity Using Watercolor, Pattern, and Design.

Written by Veronica Lawlor, it features the watercolor work of all seven Studio 1482 artists.

To mark this occasion, from now until January 1, we will post only watercolors on our blog.

Following the philosophy of our previous book, One Watercolor A Day is not a step-by-step or how-to book, but rather, a book that encourages the reader to use our art and suggestions as a point of departure for self-discovery and creativity through the art of watercolor. Meant for beginner artists as well as those with more experience under their belt, we hope the book inspires as well as entertains.

In our new Facebook group, One Watercolor A Day, (view it HERE) we’ll be encouraging readers to follow along with the exercises on a weekly basis, and post their results. We’d love to see them! We look forward to visiting the group too, and chatting with all of you about your work – what you enjoy, what you need help with, and what you absolutely love or hate about watercolors!
