… my true love said to me, did you know that you just posted the fifth day of Christmas. Maybe it is my upbringing and the lack of the sort of thing in my life as a child, but I am not one for resolutions come the New Year. While I am friendly with Janus and have been since my days studying Latin many many moons ago I tend to treat the passing of one year to the next like the closing of the final pages of a great book and the starting of the next, whether they be full of words or pictures. And while I am knowingly a day late on my One Drawing a Day post and the gathering of the five golden rings, I wanted to make sure I closed this virtual page on a proper note and didn’t leave it blank. Making no resolutions, but it is certainly my intent in 2021 to share every week something that strikes my fancy in what ever book I find myself diving into come Friday morning. Until then, stay safe and healthy and have a very happy New Year!—Dominick
