I have loved parades for as far back as I can remember—on the television, on the sidelines, blocks away—there is always something that seems so magical about so many different types of people celebrating in unity. The pageantry of the next honored participant, gazed at by young and old along the edges, overflowing into a small world of various doings all along the perimeter, for few short moments, all eyes are on the same thing. And that is something pretty spectacular to share.—Dominick
