A few weeks back I went to see this fantastic show at the NYBG featuring Dale Chihuly, an American artist who’s mastered the translucent and transparent qualities of ice, water, glass, and neon. He creates works of art that transform the everyday experience. It was spectacular to see the installation illuminated at night. Above is a drawing from a jazz concert performed on the grounds the night we went. Jazz and Chihuly, an unforgettable moment. If any one’s interested, there’s another concert called “songs of protest & reconciliation†coming up August 18th. I’d highly recommend!)  – Michele
Amazing work Michele! Enjoy your stories along with your drawings!
