The Women’s March took place today on the west side of Central Park in New York City. There were so many pink hats I couldn’t see anything else! Today’s march was an incredible demonstration of solidarity and unity. This outpouring prompted me to draw a continuous line of pink representing the respect and unity that everyone had for each other no matter their gender, ethnicity, religion or sexual identity. What everyone who participated in today’s march had in common was that they were human beings who respected each others rights. I was proud to be a part of it and reportage it with my friends. An amazing day for humanity!
