So the holidays are over, and the spring semester has begun. I took my location class to the Chelsea Markets in NYC last week- one of the great things about teaching location drawing is that I get to visit all of my favorite NYC haunts every fall and spring. Chelsea Markets is kind of like a NYC set, an indoor food, flower, and spice market inside an old factory on 9th Avenue and 15th St. If When Harry Met Sally had been filmed now, I’m sure there would be a Chelsea Market scene in it.
Anyway, I was telling the kids to think about design – so I was thinking about it too. Not as much as this guy was thinking about his gelato!!
