The first time I saw the Morgan on land it was a rather other worldly experience. She (ships are always a she even if it is named after a he, right?) looked as though she had just landed and was taking over the planet. Or at least a small inlet on the Mystic River in Connecticut. As the Dalvero show came to a close this month I was looking through old drawings and came across this. It sums up much of the feelings that day and throughout the documenting of the restoration. Another year still left, but now she is back in the water and ready for her new life.—Dominick
