It’s been a very busy season for me, so I haven’t yet had a chance to post the drawings I made of the most recent University of Kentucky Creative Study Tour that I had the privilege to document in early April. It was another great group that came with Professor Hargrove, and I’m excited to share the drawings I made and the words of wisdom I (over)heard very soon. But the highlight for me personally was bringing the group to Amplify to meet my good friend and Studio 1482 colleague, Eddie Peña. Eddie spoke eloquently and sincerely to the students about the things that helped him in his career, and, in this illustration, also spoke about the importance of research.
The students really responded to his honest demeanor and good advice, and they drooled over his amazing illustrations. As did I.
