Way back in 2005, I had the pleasure of attending the New Orleans Jazz Festival – the last one before Hurricane Katrina changed the city forever.
I remember sitting and baking in the sun, because I wanted to draw these lovely people relaxing in the shade of this tree, right outside the Jazz Fest fairgrounds.
No trees like Louisiana trees, and no people like New Orleans people…a great memory.
