One of the things I love about New York City is that you never know what you might find on a Saturday afternoon stroll. This past weekend Neil and I visited West 116th Street in Harlem, to check out a West African restaurant, since it is Harlem Restaurant Week in NY.
As we headed back east after our lunch, we came across a live music performance across the street from La Marqueta: part of an event sponsored by the NYCEDC, in honor of Women’s History Month. What fun! Besides dancing a little, I had to make a drawing. 🙂
