I drew this woman at a Muslim prayer jummah at JFK airport last December. She gave a speech and said that as a woman who had survived the Nazi Holocaust, she wanted to stand up that day, and be counted in support of Muslim immigrants to America.
This woman’s bravery is inspirational. I hope we can all stand up and be counted in support of those who are being threatened, when it matters.
