more Worms

Here’s a drawing/collage/painting inspired by a mystery. Much of earthworm behavior is understood by scientists except for how and why they rise to the surface when it rains. Also, as I dig and plant in my garden I often wonder about how I could translate soil into a 2-Dimensional visual… here I gave it the ole Pollack try. The triangle shapes have meaning in a story I’m working on. ~~~~Despina

    I always understood that earthworms rise to the top after rain because there isn’t enough oxygen in soggy ground.

    Ha! mystery solved thanks! I read that somewhere on the internet. I do like the idea of mysterious earthworm activity though! ;) )
